When we began working with the DFA they had a concept for their Annual Meeting but no visualization of the concept. We worked in collaboration with their marketing team to develop the squared pattern which matched the concept of dedication and the odd colored square within the pattern meant random acts of innovation. We created templates which we could use across all their marketing, design and print materials to make production that much faster. Having a set style, a set number of fonts and colors meant we could never deviate too far from the standards and that we would build consistent recognition across all of their media.
